    The National Day of the Cowboy (TNDOTC) is this Saturday, July 27thand we will be celebrating this day designed to preserve, protect and promote our pioneer heritage and cowboy culture.  The image of the cowboy as a hero is pervasive in American culture and a big reason that AJ’s ventured into business.   We love the western lifestyle and a cowboy strikes an emotional chord for us.  We find it inspiring that there are still men & women throughout the country who are working cowboys & cowgirls.  These are our customers and we love what they stand for!   • The Reno Rodeo is Tough Enough to Wear Pink Western Clothes! Are you?

    Tough Enough to Wear Pink Logo

    The Reno Rodeo will be wearing pink western shirts this Friday night!  It’s Summertime and the professional rodeo circuit is in full gear which means the Tough Enough to Wear Pink movement is in full swing!

    Rodeos across the country are supporting TETWP which has raised over $12 million dollars for breast cancer charities, much of which stays right in the community where it is raised.  Started in 2004 by Terry Wheatley, a breast cancer survivor and Karl Stressman the current commissioner of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PCRA)  the TETWP grassroots movement has inspired other sport communities to start their own TETWP campaigns.
