Western Wear

In today's world of fashion, there are many different fashion trends that are here today and gone tomorrow. One type of clothing that will never go out of style is western wear. Western wear got its name from the hard core cowboys that had to wear very tough clothing to help protect them while they were performing their daily duties on the ranch. Today there are still many cowboys that used western wear for that same reason, but there are also many other people who wear western clothing just because they like the look.

There are several different pieces that are used to make a full western outfit, with the most popular piece being the western shirt. Western shirts come in a variety of colors, styles, patterns, and sizes. They are also available for men, women and children. The most traditional western shirt is the long sleeved style; however, there are other styles that include the short sleeve and three quarter length sleeve shirts.

Another essential portion of a western outfit is the boots. Western boots, like western shirts, are available in a variety of colors, styles, and sizes. You can also find western boots that are made out of some very unusual material like ostrich and alligator and many times you will be able to find a belt to match your boots, even if your boots are made out of alligator.

Most western shirts and boots are worn with denim jeans, but there are individuals who prefer to wear other types of pants, like khakis and many prefer to wear skirts with their western shirts and boots.

A great way to top off your western outfit is with a cowboy hat. Most of the time you will wear a felt hat in the winter and a straw hat during the summer, however, this rule is not carved in stone and it is acceptable for you to wear a felt hat year-round. When you are choosing a hat, you will be able to pick from many colors and shapes. If you find a hat that you like, but it does not have the shape that you want, you can simply have it re-creased to a shape that you like.
