When you attend a rodeo, or any other type of western event, you will often see the competitors and fans wearing cowboy shirts. These shirts are usually long sleeved and can be any color, or combination of colors, that you can imagine, but cowboys are not the only people that can wear cowboy shirts. Anyone including men, women, and children can wear cowboy shirts and look fantastic.

It is quite possible that children wear cowboy shirts more often than adults do. It seems like every small boy in the world that has seen a western movie wants to be a cowboy when they grow up. They will play "Cowboys and Indians" with their friends on a daily basis, wearing their cowboy shirts, chaps, and have their toy gun strapped to their hip. Cowboy shirts that are designed for women are usually a little bit more feminine than the shirts that are designed for men. Many of the women's cowboy shirts will have fancier buttons that serve to accent the shirt, or they may have lace inlaid on the yolk or other part of the shirt. You can also find women's cowboy shirts that have the very popular three quarter length sleeve (you will not see a man's shirt with a three quarter length sleeve).
